Based on a series of questions to employees and managers, the IPA can provide a strategic diagnosis for the company and which internal areas affect the company’s effectiveness.

The report provides answers on how the company is responding to the turbulence in the market and what HR strategy will support the future.

Strategic level

The organisational level consists of the concept of “strategic orientation”.

The strategic orientation is the focus that the organization on its environment through:

  2. Technology
  3. Structure
  4. Culture
  5. HR Policy
  6. Measurement systems

Tactical level

The five components, like the components of the strategic orientation, must be consistent with and support each other:

  1. Clarity of purpose
  2. Teamwork
  3. Group norms
  4. Group composition
  5. Task structure

Operational level

The bottom level is made up of the design components and, as on the other levels, the components – exemplified by the job – can be set in a mechanical or organic way.

  1. Autonomy
  2. Feedback
  3. Importance of the task
  4. Meaning of the job
  5. The extent to which the job requires many different skills
